Education is the single most important public policy issue facing south Carolina today. Improving education must be our primary focus. It is the "eye on the ball."
Economic development equals jobs. Smart economic development policy must include help for small business. It is also essential that rural South Carolina is included in the mix.
South Carolina's natural resources are unique and special. There is no other "Low Country of South Carolina." Generations that follow us are entitled to our very best efforts to preserve, protect and enhance our environmental heritage. That is what you do with heirlooms.
Public Service is not always easy or pretty. Most of the time it is just plain hard work. It is always good when honestly motivated men and women come together to try to help people.
People can rightly insist on their elected officials behaving honorably and respectably.
